Student Ambassador

Lead a DeepStation chapter on your campus. Host events, build community, and connect students with the AI industry.

What You'll Do

  • Run a campus chapter and host monthly meetups
  • Organize 1 workshop or hackathon per semester
  • Recruit new members and grow the community
  • Create social content and event recaps
  • Nominate campus speakers for DeepTalk events

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled college or university student
  • Passion for AI, ML, or data science

Frequently Asked Questions

Student Ambassadors commit approximately 5-8 hours per week for a semester. Industry Ambassadors commit 2-4 hours per month. Both are flexible — we work with your schedule.
Passion matters more than expertise. For student ambassadors, enthusiasm for AI and community building is the main requirement. For industry ambassadors, professional experience in AI, ML, data science, or engineering is expected. We provide training and resources to help you get up to speed.
Each ambassador belongs to one primary chapter, but industry ambassadors can speak at and guest-participate in events across all chapters. Student ambassadors focus on their campus chapter.
Every ambassador gets a starter kit with event templates, branding assets, social media templates, and a facilitator guide. Student ambassadors are paired with an industry mentor. You'll also have direct access to the DeepStation core team for support.
The ambassador program is volunteer-based, with meaningful perks: swag kits, API credits from partner tools, LinkedIn recommendations, event invitations, and a speaking platform. We're exploring stipend options for top-performing ambassadors.
